I am honored to be one of 29 artists in The Pulse Project organized by Seth Apter at The Empty Spaces Project in Putnam, Connecticut! The exhibition includes artists that were featured in either of Seth Apter's books, The Pulse of Mixed Media or The Mixed Media Artist. The show runs the month of April at the gallery run by Paul Toussaint and Ann Monteiro. There is an opening from 6-9 on Friday, April 3rd, in case you happen to be in the neighborhood! Unfortunately, it's a long way from South Dakota!
I would like to extend a warm and heartfelt thank you to Seth Apter for his tireless enthusiasm and promotion of the arts and artists!! He is a wonderful artist in his own right and seems to have nothing but positive energy and drive...I'm honored to be part of his world.
I am currently on Spring Break, but immersed in reading articles, writing paper and working on upcoming presentations. Ah....the life of an over-aged graduate student. I do love the life of learning, but I am really missing being in the studio. I will get back there one day soon, renewed and invigorated!
We are enjoying some amazingly balmy weather this week in South Dakota....perfectly blue skies, temperatures tomorrow in the 70s I think!
Hope spring is on the way soon to you....if you are this hemisphere anyway!
Cheers!
